The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our Digital Solutions team.
Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Architecture, you will own the strategy, roadmap and ongoing performance of G8's Finance Technology portfolio, ensuring our finance systems continue to support the evolving needs of the business.
Working closely with Finance, and external vendors, you'll be responsible for the operational performance of our finance technology services while identifying opportunities to enhance capability, improve user experience and deliver measurable business value.
This is a highly collaborative role that requires someone who can confidently engage senior stakeholders, lead technology change initiatives and balance strategic planning with operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for G8's Finance Technology portfolio.
- Ensure the effective operation and continuous improvement of finance technology services across the organisation.
- Partner with Finance and business leaders to understand operational needs and translate them into technology solutions.
- Lead product discovery, prioritisation and delivery of enhancements that drive business value.
- Monitor market trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to strengthen the product strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external technology vendors.
- Lead change initiatives across the Finance Operations portfolio, ensuring successful adoption of new capabilities.
- Manage product performance, budgets, priorities and success metrics to maximise business outcomes.
About You
You will be a commercially minded Product Manager with strong finance systems experience and a passion for delivering technology solutions that improve business performance.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes.
- Demonstrated experience managing Finance solutions including Back Office General Ledger (GL) systems.
- Proven ability to influence and manage relationships with senior business stakeholders.
- Experience managing third-party technology vendors and strategic partnerships.
- Strong experience leading business and technology change initiatives.
- Experience developing product strategies, roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with Coupa and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) will be highly regarded.
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, Finance or a related discipline.
- Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
