The Opportunity 

We’re looking for an experienced and creative Content Marketing Lead to shape and drive content strategy across our portfolio of 21 G8 brands. In this role, you’ll lead the development and delivery of engaging, purposeful content that supports brand growth and drives parent enquiry and centre tours across our national network of 400+ early learning centres.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing our aggregator channels, managing our G8 and centre-level online communities, and ensuring content is aligned, on-brand, and optimised for performance.

To be successful, you’ll be a natural storyteller with a strategic mindset, strong writing, editing and process skills, with a deep understanding of consumer behaviour and digital content trends. You’ll be highly collaborative and work closely with the Campaigns and Digital Marketing Managers to bring campaigns to life and deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the G8 content calendar across 21 brands
  • Monitor and optimise G8’s organic social media channels
  • Provide content and creative support for video and photography shoots
  • Lead the management and ongoing optimisation of content across all aggregator platforms
  • Work closely with Campaigns and Digital Marketing Managers on aggregator realignment and reporting
  • Manage inbound messages and comments across all social accounts using Hootsuite
  • Deliver monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations
  • Lead the development and delivery of micro-campaigns aligned with local and national goals
  • Support the Campaign Marketing Manager on end-to-end campaign rollout
  • Represent Marketing on cross-functional project teams, providing content and digital expertise
  • Collaborate with Education, Operations and People & Culture to gather and align content initiatives
  • Create and share regular internal updates on campaign and content success across the network

About You 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or a related discipline
  • Experience working in a large, fast paced organisation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and ability to execute up to date digital marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a team and independently.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet competing deadlines.
  • Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
