Our Opportunity
Are you passionate about working with children and making a positive impact on their development? We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Lead Educator to join our team.
As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for supporting with creating and implementing engaging play-based learning activities for children ages 6 months to 5 years old. You will provide a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child. This position is for our Toddler room.
Your role
- Support in the planning and deliver of age-appropriate activities, including art, music, movement, and outdoor play
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity
- Observe and assess the development and progress of each child, and communicate with parents and colleagues about individual needs and achievements
- Maintain a clean and organised room, including managing materials and supplies
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following all policies and procedures
We are located in Berwick and close to nearby suburbs Clyde North, Cranbourne North and Narre Warren South. At capacity our centre caters for up to 100 children with operating hours from 6:30am to 6:30pm with convenient on-site parking.

Our Requirements
- Hold a minimum ACECQA approved Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
- An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Proven sector experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A current Working with Children Check
- First Aid certificate
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
