As a Childcare Educator, you'll be the mastermind behind creating unforgettable play-based learning experiences for our tiny titans (ages 6 months to 5 years). Your mission: to create a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment that sets the stage for each child's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Our daycare and early learning centre is a convenient choice for families in Parmelia, Baldivis, Bertram, Orelia and Wellard.
Great Beginnings Parmelia offers long day care and a kindergarten program for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, with extended hours to suit busy families.
Our state-of-the-art early learning centre offers a vibrant and engaging environment, designed to inspire curiosity and creativity in our young explorers. Our facilities include:
  • Spacious indoor and outdoor play areas, perfect for active learning and adventure
  • Modern rooms equipped with the latest technology and age-appropriate resources
  • A diverse range of activities to foster growth and development
With a capacity for up to 106 children, our centre is open from 6am to 6pm, providing a safe and nurturing space for your little ones to thrive.

Your role

  • Lead and support in the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities, including art, music, movement, and outdoor play
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity
  • Observe and assess the development and progress of each child, and communicate with parents and colleagues about individual needs and achievements
  • Maintain a clean and organised room, including managing materials and supplies
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following all policies and procedures

Our Requirements

  • Hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or  Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) 
  • An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Proven sector experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years) 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • First Aid certificate
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
