The Opportunity 

Reporting to the Head of Data and Analytics, you will play an important role in supporting data-driven decision-making across G8 Education.
Working closely with stakeholders across Finance, Marketing, Operations and senior leadership, you will develop insightful reporting solutions, identify business opportunities and translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with commercial thinking and wants to make a genuine impact on business performance and strategic outcomes.

While this opportunity is advertised as a Reporting and Insights Analyst, we encourage experienced Senior Analysts to apply, with flexibility to appoint at a senior level for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor business performance and key metrics.
• Deliver meaningful insights into customer behaviour, operational efficiency, commercial performance and growth opportunities.
• Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities that support strategic business decisions.
• Translate data into clear, compelling insights and recommendations for stakeholders, including executive leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver effective analytical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting, streamline processes and improve data accessibility.
• Support data quality, governance and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and consistency.

About You 

You are an analytical and solutions-focused professional who enjoys looking beyond the numbers to uncover insights that drive real business outcomes. You are confident engaging with stakeholders, asking the right questions and communicating complex information in a way that makes sense to your audience.

• At least 5 years' experience in analytics, business intelligence or insights-focused roles.
• Advanced Power BI skills, with strong experience in dashboard development, data modelling and visualisation.
• Strong technical capability in SQL and/or Python, including working with large and complex datasets.
• Demonstrated experience delivering strategic insights that influence business decisions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and an understanding of data quality and governance.
• Experience improving reporting processes through automation and continuous improvement.
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic business environment.
• Qualifications in Business Analytics, Statistics or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
• Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
