Community Kids Yennora Early Education Centre is looking for a passionate and qualified Educator/ Cook to join our friendly team in a unique dual-role position. This opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys welcoming children and families each day, building meaningful relationships, and preparing nutritious, high-quality meals that support children's growth, learning, and wellbeing for up to 54 children in a centre that values quality care, nutrition, and community connections.

Part-Time | 32.5 Hours per Week
Monday to Friday | 7:00am – 1:30pm

What You'll Be Doing

  • Creating warm and welcoming experiences for children and families each morning
  • Preparing fresh, nutritious, and appealing meals and snacks daily
  • Managing food preparation in accordance with food safety standards and regulations
  • Catering for allergies, dietary requirements, and cultural preferences. Ordering stock.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant kitchen environment
  • Promoting healthy eating habits and positive food experiences for children

Successful Applicants must hold

  • A Certificate III or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services-ACECQA approved
  • A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or Certificate III in Commercial Cookery – ACECQA approved
  • A current Working with Children’s Check 
  • You will also share our commitment to bringing learning to life, inspiring the children in our care to reach their full potential.
