The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Cook to join the team at Jellybeans Child Care Attadale to produce high quality, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 75 children each day. Hot meals will need to be provided for daily, with dietary considerations to be catered for. 

This role is Part-Time working 30 hours per week. The hours can be flexible with a planned 6 hours per day (normally 8:00am-2:30pm) with a 30 minute break.

About Us

Welcome to Jellybeans Attadale. Our daycare and early learning centre is a convenient choice for local families in Attadale, Bicton, East Fremantle, Palmyra, Melville and Myaree. Jellybeans Attadale offers long daycare and a kindergarten program for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, with extended hours to suit busy families.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 75 children with operating hours from 7:00am to 6:00pm.

Our menus meet nutritional guidelines and are high-quality, allowing young bodies to thrive both mentally and physically. As part of the Team, you will feel appreciated, valued and enjoy a truly supportive and fun work environment.

About You

• Experienced in Menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering & control
• Experienced in dietary and allergy safe requirements. 
• Experienced in ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with the relevant Food Safety regulations
• Be a Team Player with great communication and interpersonal skills
• Be available for set shift days and times Monday to Friday

Successful Applicants must hold

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification and experience in a cook role
• A current Working with Children’s Check and First Aid
• Completed or willing to complete Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
