We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Educator to join our team at Great Beginnings Golden Bay! As a Childcare Educator, you'll play a vital role in shaping the lives of children aged 6 months to 5 years, creating a nurturing environment that fosters their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Our Centre:

  • Delightful indoor and outdoor play areas
  • State-of-the-art technology and learning resources
  • Capacity for up to 100 children, operating from 6:30am to 6:30pm

Your Qualifications:

  • ACECQA-approved Diploma Qualification in Children's Services (or working towards)
  • Understanding of EYLF and NQS
  • Proven experience in Early Childhood Education
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities (art, music, movement, outdoor play)
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture
  • Observe, assess, and communicate children's progress and needs
  • Maintain a clean and organized room
  • Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times

Our Requirements

  • Hold a minimum ACECQA approved Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education and care (or equivalent or working towards their Diploma)
  • An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Proven sector experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years) 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • First Aid certificate
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
