Great Beginnings Yanchep seeking an experienced and passionate cook to join our team as a Childcare Cook! If you have a love for preparing healthy, child-friendly meals, we'd love to hear from you. Our menus are designed to fuel young bodies and minds, promoting overall wellbeing and development.

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 6 months to 5 years old
• Work closely with our Educators and Centre Manager to plan menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of the children

Centre Details:

• Capacity: up to 100  children
• Operating Hours: 6:30am to 6:30pm

Our early learning and long day care centre offers child care in the Maddington area, for families living or commuting through the suburbs Gosnells, Kenwick and Kelmscott. Our homely, purpose-built child care centre in Maddington offers long day care and kindergarten for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years from 6:30am to 6:30pm

About You

• Experienced in Menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering & control
• Experienced in dietary and allergy safe requirements. 
• Experienced in ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with the relevant Food Safety regulations
• Be a Team Player with great communication and interpersonal skills
• Be available for set shift days and times Monday to Friday

Successful Applicants must hold

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification and experience in a cook role
• A current Working with Children’s Check and First Aid
• Completed or willing to complete Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
